Comment: Many clubs in the north and some heavy dancing southern clubs tend to do full turns |
and use stomps to songs with the fastest rhythms, while the traditional southern clubs trend to |
do partial turns with scuffs to the slow and medium rhythms. Many Appalachian area dancers |
add the clogging style hops. |

Dance starts with steps the same for gentleman and lady. Where different, the gentleman's |
counts will be given first, lady's second. |
