FOUR POLKA STEPS
1&2  Shuffle forward Left, Right, Left
3&4  Shuffle forward Right, Left, Right
5&6  Shuffle forward Left, Right, Left
7&8  Shuffle forward Right, Left, Right
 
There are several variations of the following 12 steps. See notes that follow the dance.
 
JAZZ BOX, STEP, BRUSH, STEP, BRUSH
9-12  Cross Left foot over Right, step back on Right foot, step back on Left foot,
  brush Right foot
13-16  Step forward on Right foot, brush Left foot, step forward on Left foot,
  brush Right foot
 
JAZZ BOX, 1/4 TURN
17-20  Cross Right foot over Left, step back on Left foot, step right on Right foot turning
  1/4 right to face outward from the LOD while continuing to hold Right hand in
  Right, Left hand in Left, brush Left foot (woman is now in front of man)
 
MODIFIED GRAPEVINE LEFT (facing outside LOD)
21-22  Step left on Left foot, cross Right foot behind Left
23-24  Step left on Left foot, cross Right foot over Left
 
STEP, 1/4 TURN, KICK, BACK TWO STEPS
25  Step on left turning 1/4 right, making a side to side 'push turn',
  continuing in Sweetheart position. (both now facing rear LOD)
26-28  Kick Right foot, step back on Right foot, step back on Left foot
 
STOMP, STOMP, STEP, PIVOT 1/2 AND CROSS
29-30  Stomp Right foot beside Left, stomp Right foot beside Left
  (In some areas, steps 29-30 are done as right heel taps in front)
31  Step forward on Right foot
32  Pivot 1/2 left, keeping weight on Right, crossing Left foot over Right
 
Repeat
 
A fun variation is done on the east coast by groups like Leather and Lace in NJ:
24  Cross Right foot over Left and turn 1/4 turn left facing forward LOD
25  Step on Left foot turning 1/2 turn right
26  Jump into the air on Left foot while making the right kick
